Artist/Educator In Residence
Isomorphic Surfing
Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum
Santa Barbara, CA

Designed and taught interdisciplinary three-month course for a group of regional high school girls, applying basic design and problem solving to abstract concepts. Using the history of the surfboard as a point of departure, students invented devices to navigate currently unharnessed territories (time, dreams, memory). Conducted field research, led weekly art history/work sessions, curated visiting experts, and facilitated student exhibition concurrent with CAF’s show of international artists, Glass Love.
